Pedometers for Walk to School Grant

Looking for pedometers for your Walk to School programs in the fall? To participate, schools must have participated in at least one Walk to School event over the past three years and plan on participating in the 2008 Walk to School event.

Citizen Engagement Grant Program

Common Sense California (CSC) is offering $125,000.00 in funds to municipalities, school districts and non-profit organizations that are attempting to engage their citizens in legitimate, informed decision making.

Applications for these grants will be received through September 12, 2008.

National Latina Health Network's
2008 Emerging Leaders Health Institute

 The National Latina Health Network's (NLHN) Emerging Leaders Health Institute (ELHI) proposes to build health leadership capacity among young Latinas, ages 18-25 years of age. Participants will travel to the Nation's Capital to meet and network with a variety of prominent Latina leaders.
