What is the African American Campaign?

  • It is designed to improve the health of the low-income community by providing education, advocacy, and policy development regarding healthy eating and physical activity.
  • Through Faith-based Community Projects and NetworkCampaign provides services to the nearly 40 percent of African Americans in California who are low-income.
  • The mission is to encourage the improvement of health by empowering the African American community through education, advocacy, and policy development that promotes the benefits of healthy eating and physical activity.
