Program Description
Fresno County leads the nation in the production of fresh tree fruits.  The pomology program in Fresno County serves the various fresh shipping tree fruit industries by providing a research based educational program to the commercial producers and related industry personnel involved with peaches, plums, nectarines, apples, apricots, apriums, Asian pears, cherries, figs, kiwis, pluots, pomegranates, dried plums (prunes), and other minor deciduous tree crops.
